Our Roots

A Tradition Spanning a Century

We take the utmost care of our historic vineyards. One dates back to the 1920s, the other was planted in the 1960s. It is the same care and dedication we give to all our vineyards, ensuring their longevity—because old vines produce better wine.

History and Tradition

Healthy grapes, healthy wine

At Le Due Torri, we are grounded winemakers with a clear winemaking philosophy. We practice and honour Friulian viticultural tradition, blending it with a spirit of experimentation driven by the ongoing pursuit of innovative methods and exemplary quality within the broader context of international oenology.

Our wines express the Friulian winemaking heritage, reinterpreted with a unique and personal touch thanks to meticulous vineyard work and the adoption of the latest techniques in the field.

We are winemakers of few words but we have clear ideas: we strongly believe that research and enological technology allow our wines to express their full potential. We limit the use of additives and exogenous materials to a minimum, for healthier wines that are even more faithful to their intrinsic characteristics.

Come discover and savor the results of our passionate commitment! 18 hectares of vineyards in the Friulian hills. We are not a big company. We are a niche company focusing on the winemaking craft working hard for excellence.

Ermanno

Winemaker by Passion

After ten years at sea as a chief engineer and subsea engineer, Ermanno decided to take on a new challenge by becoming part of the wine entrepreneur community—respecting the history of a world that has always fascinated him, yet unafraid to embrace change and experiment with the new.

At the heart of the project lie two clear and strong principles: to reflect modernity while drawing from tradition; to be international, yet firmly rooted in the local land.

The story of Le Due Torri wines begins with the careful hand selection of grapes, followed by aging in steel or wood; and the story of Ermanno, who chose to leave the sea behind for the vineyards of Friuli, yet with eyes still wide open to the world beyond the boundaries of tradition.
